Oonagh has also been nominated for EY Entrepreneur the year 2021 There are now nine Meagher’s Pharmacies in Dublin with over forty dedicated employees including ten pharmacists.
The Meagher’s Pharmacy Group has won many awards including the JCI friendly business award in 2010 and they are the proud employer of the Young Pharmacist of the Year 2011, Eugene Renehan. Oonagh holds a BSc degree in Pharmacy from Trinity College and qualified in 1996. Meagher’s Pharmacy Group: The Meagher’s Pharmacy Group had its roots in Baggot Street, Dublin. It was first opened in 1921 and was operated by the Meagher’s family up to 2001 when Oonagh O’Hagan (who had served her Pre-Reg year under the guidance of Pierce Meagher) purchased the store from the Meagher’s family. Based on its reputation as a “Community Pharmacy”, it was important to Oonagh to retain the name, Meagher’s Pharmacy as a trading name.
